    Although we are not primarily in the rental business, the Memorial Union does offer the following items for rent, when available, to complement your function. Rates listed are for pick-up at the Memorial Union loading dock. If delivery is required, delivery rates will also apply.

    Audiovisual Equipment
    Professional technical assistance is available through Auxiliary Technologies. Please make arrangements in advance (487-3523). Labor rates are as follows (Minimum charge is 1/4 hour):

    AV equipment rental is subject to availability, and at least forty-eight hours advance notice is needed for most of the items. Please call for availability and rental information. The following items may be available to compliment your function:

    Wireless Internet
    Wireless Internet Service (RoverNet) is available in the Memorial Union Alumni Lounge, Ballrooms, Peninsula Room, Guest Rooms, and Keweenaw Commons area. RoverNet is designed to allow you to take your laptop or PDA and wirelessly gain access to network resources (such as the web and e-mail). In the wireless “hot zones” you’ll need a WiFi certified 802.11b compliant network card and a SSL capable browser. Twenty-four hour advance notice is required for the service. To receive a wireless account, please contact the Memorial Union Manager’s Office. The cost for service is $25 per business day.
